About Us

The Lafayette Skeptics is a small organization of skeptics and critical thinkers from the Greater Lafayette area of Indiana. We were founded in September, 2009 by Hilary Nelson, Don Riefler, and Sean Bennett. Our goal is to spread scientific literacy and critical thinking skills through educational programming and outreach and to undertake investigations of fringe and paranormal phenomena, alternative medicine, and consumer fraud and scams.
